I would like a car tracker - What information will you need from me?

When calling our sales team, please have ready your car registration, installation address & a debit or credit card for the payment of your tracking system.

Do I have to pay for a subscription charge on any tracker?

Yes – all the insurance approved tracking systems require 24 hour monitoring.

How often do I pay the subscription?

For insurance approved tracking all the control centres offer two options.

i) Annual subscription – Paid once every year.

ii) Lifetime subscription – Pay a one off fee which covers all your monitoring charges for as long as you own the vehicle.

iii) 3 year subscription – This is a one off fee covering your monitoring charges for 3 years – introduced by Trafficmaster & Tracker.

Do you offer a pay as you go tracking system?

No, sorry all our approved tracking systems have a monitoring charge.

Can my tracking system be removed if I change car?

Yes, all our Cobra, Trackstar, Smartrack & fleet tracking systems can be moved to your next car.

Do I receive a certificate of installation for my insurance company?

Upon completion of your tracking system you will receive a vat invoice & subscription form.This normally is suffice to forward to the insurance company for validation . However if you require further certificates then these are available on request from the control centre.

How long does the installation take?

Once your vehicle is booked with an installation date our team of qualified engineers can normally install your tracker within 2hours.

Can my car be monitored abroad?

Yes , your insurance approved tracking system subscription includes UK & European cover.
